How long have you been in the medical field?

I have been a part of the medical field for 7 years.

What are your background and education?

I have my Associates Degree in Practical Nursing and I am a current Nursing Student

Why do you love what you do?

I love what I do because I get to help people and build community relationships by connecting patients with providers and relaying information between them.

Who/What inspired you to become clinical personnel?

I have always wanted to work in the medical career field. I joined the United States Air Force in 2011 and after my medical training, I was placed in a clinical position.

What about IBD excites you?

IBD is exciting because it gives me an opportunity to learn so much. I have a background in Family Health, Pediatric, Women’s Health, and Allergy Immunizations. This is a whole new experience for me and I am excited to learn more.

What are your career goals?

My current career goal is to get my Registered Nursing license and my Bachelors in Nursing. Long term I would like to be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

A fun fact about me would be that I once completed the Baton Memorial Death March at White Sands Desert in New Mexico. This is a 26-mile ruck march through White Sands Desert. It was a really cool experience and I am glad I did it.
