Lulu Huang

Clinical Research Coordinator

What are your background and education?

I recently graduated from Washington University in 2018 with a BA in Biology/Biochemistry and minors in Anthropology: Global Health & the Environment, and Chinese Language and Culture.

Why do you love what you do?

I love being able to work with physicians to help provide patients with high-quality care. It is incredibly rewarding to be a part of a patient’s journey towards remission.

What are your career goals?

My end goal is to become a future physician, possibly as an IBD physician. Through my time here, I have seen the need for IBD physicians, as well as female physicians. On my journey to become a physician, I also hope to get my Masters in Public Health to help further my understanding of the relationship between patients and their communities.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I love to eat! One thing I love about St. Louis is the abundance of food options and I enjoy trying new restaurants and cuisines and learning about the cultures associated with the dishes. In my free time, I run my own food blog.
